Removing Groups 

To remove a group: 
click to select the group you would like to remove. 
click the delete button in the button bar and you will be prompted to confirm the deletion click ʻOKʼ to delete the file! 

Adding, Editing and Removing Users 

The process for adding, editing and removing users is exactly the same as for groups.
For example to add a user: open the Users and Groups tool from the start button menu click the button.
This will add a new user and open the properties box. Enter the name of the user and any other details you would like to add. 
click the button to save the user. 

Adding a User to a Group 

To add a user to a group:
Click Users from the users and groups tray on the left-hand side.
This will show a list of the users in the canvas area. Select the user you want to edit by clicking on its name Click the ʻMembershipsʼ tab. 
Click the ʻ+ʼ sign and a pop-up will appear that allows you to select the group you would like to add the user to.
Select the group by clicking it and then click ʻOKʼ. 
Repeat this process for the groups you would like to add the user to and when you have finished editing the group memberships click the button to save your changes. 

Removing a User from a Group

To remove a user from a group: 
To remove a user from a group, edit their properties and go to Memberships. 
Select the group you would like to remove and click the ʻXʼ button in the memberships box.
This will remove the user from the group.
If there access rights have been changed it will affect them the next time they log into the site.
