Cut, copy and paste

 
The cut, copy and paste buttons allow you to select one or more elements and paste them 
in any component you wish. When you cut an element it is moved to the clipboard and 
removed from the canvas. When you copy an element, a copy is placed in the clipboard 
and the original remains in the place. 

To cut or copy an element: 

Select the element(s) you would like to cut or copy. The dotted redline will appear to 

indicate which have been selected. 

click the buttons to either cut (scissors) or copy (duplicate) the selected 
elements. This will place them in the clipboard. 

To paste an element either: 

drag the element from the clipboard to the canvas OR click the paste button   on the button bar. This will place the cut or copied elements onto the canvas. 

Emptying the clipboard 

click on the  button in the element clipboard. This will remove all of the contents of the clipboard.
