Overview
HammerKit is a tool set aimed at users with some experience of web design. There is no need to be a skilled coder - a working knowledge of HTML and CSS are all that are needed in becoming proficient user of HammerKit. The tools allow you to construct web services using a drag-and-drop approach to site creation. In short: You are building sites and applications in your browser.

Who works with HammerKit?
HammerKit is used by Web Designers, Developers and Web Workers who know which technologies and pieces are needed for a website but don’t want to spend time on the command line.Since its first version in 2003, HammerKit has been used for different kind of web sites; from a simple static business card to larger web applications, like real estate management systems, shops, or multichannel sites that must handle various screen-sizes (small for mobile devices, middle for PCs and large for Internet TVs).

When to use HammerKit, when not?
HammerKit is the best choice when you want to build a dynamic site that doesn’t just show things but also does things. Whenever you need to handle different user groups with different access rights, deal with data or build a new application, use HammerKit. If you just need to publish opening hours and one image on the Web, use a simple HTML editor. Otherwise 99% of HammerKit’s power is wasted.
