One of the top 10 growth companies in the Nordics
I was totally thrilled to be selected to participate in the Nordic Venture Forum in Copenhagen, but was ecstatic at being chosen by a panel of investors as one of the best crop of companies in the Nordics at the moment.
I had to present our business to a panel of 7 investors and had just 8 mins to tell our story and what we needed in terms of investment. This was followed up by questions from the panel on our business model, our technology and our growth prospects.
I was first to present. The chairman of the panel fired up the presentation and off I went. By the second slide I realised that I was showing an earlier version of the presentation, but I carried on for a couple of slides and then calmly said that this was not the presentation I wanted to give and made a slick switch to the correct one. Oops ;)
I spoke with Markus B�ckstr�m of Thirdpresence after the event, he commented that I made the switch very calmy and was impressed that I did not loose my thread. I put this down to playing as the drummer in a band from my teens to my twenties and knowing that even if you drop a stick you keep the beat going and most people will not notice.
I also want to congratulate Thirdpresence who were selected as one of the top 10. I think it was a great show for Finland and a testimony to the support companies like HammerKit and Thirdpresence receive from organisations such as Veraventures, Technopolis and TEKES.
