Kari Katajam�ki

Chairman

Kari Katajam�ki is one of the main private investors in HammerKit and has been Chairman of the Board since the company was founded in November 2006.

Kari was a board member of Sentera Oyj (formerly Iocore Oyj) from 2000 -2007 until its sale to SysOpenDigia Oyj. Kari also served as CEO of Iocore Oyj from 2001 - 2003 and as the Chairman of Microext Oy from 1997 - 2000. He is an IT industry veteran with specialist knowledge of the financial and banking sectors and transaction-intensive IT services.
Kari, born in 1951, is married with 3 children and lives in Helsinki.

Mark Sorsa-Leslie

Managing Director

Mark Sorsa-Leslie joined HammerKit as Managing Director in November 2007. Mark worked as Product Management Executive for TietoEnator between 2005 - 2007 where he was responsible for the creation of several service concepts. He was also Head of the Profit 2007 Programme Office during 2007.

He became a qualified Chartered Surveyor in 1994 and worked in the real estate industry in the UK for 10 years before he undertook his Executive MBA at Middlesex Business School in 1999 focusing on the Internet as a route to business innovation. From here he co-founded a real estate software company, OpenEra Systems Ltd, and led the development of an eLearning service for the UK Oil and Gas industry with Cogent SSC Ltd, the Sector Skills Council for the Oil, Gas and Chemical industries in the UK.

In 2007, Mark was selected as a Seedcamp 20 finalist with an innovative real-estate management application called Reavia. The application was built using HammerKit, which gave Mark insight into the potential of HammerKit, and ultimately led him to the role of Managing Director.

Mark, born in 1972 and originally from Aberdeen, Scotland, moved to Finland in 2005 and lives in Kirkkonummi with his wife and son.

Anu Halme

Head of Sales

After graduating from the Humboldt University of Berlin in 1997, Anu worked in advertising and PR, and later as Account Manager for Finnish and American mobile game companies, like Mforma and Digital Chocolate. After years of managing mobile operator accounts like Vodafone Germany, T-Mobile, o2 Germany, and Swisscom, she joined HammerKit in early 2009. Anu was born in 1971 and lives with her husband and three children near Helsinki. She awards herself with a Mother's Multitasking Certificate and enjoys selling and distributing all the cool digital things made by creative and talented software developers, designers, and other propel-heads.

Jani V�h�s�yrinki

Chief Technology Officer

Jani V�h�s�yrinki is the original creator of the technology and Chief Technology Officer of HammerKit, a product that started as a productivity tool he developed for himself at the end of 2001.

His inspiration was the idea of how he could have produced all web projects he had worked on over the previous 5 years for companies like Elisa, Nokia and Sonera more quickly and with less reworking. Ideas stemming from discussions with close colleagues served as the driver to build HammerKit into a full scale product. Jani forged the codes for the first version of HammerKit by the end of year 2002.

Jani has completed hundreds of IT projects since 1993, mainly as coder, software engineer and application designer with companies such as ICL and Njet Communications. A gifted IT all-rounder, he specializes in LAMP stack code engineering and has world-class skills in PHP development.

Jani, originally from Lappaj�rvi, Finland was born in 1974 and moved to Helsinki in 1997, where he lives with his wife and daughter.

Robin Lindroos

Core Technology Manager


Robin, born in Helsinki in 1978, is one of the original development team of HammerKit. An experienced web developer, Robin had worked on various web projects for over three years before specializing in the development of software component assembly. Alumnus of Helsinki University of Technology, Robin has graduated as a Master of Science in Media Technology. His thesis centered around the use of semantic web technologies and what drives him is the goal of creating a streamlined production method and a great user experience for the users of HammerKit.
