HammerKit was chosen as one of the TOP 25 European growth companies to compete of a cash prize of 90.000 EUR in the Eurecan European Venture Contest 2009 in Barcelona.

Helsinki, Finland, 26th November 2009 - HammerKit who offer a complete online studio for web designers has been chosen as one of the 25 finalists to compete in the Eurecan European Venture Contest in Barcelona on December 14-15. The event brings together the most promising European growth companies within ICT, Life Science and Clean Tech industries to pitch before the grand jury consisting of international venture capitalists and investors. The winner will receive a cash prize of 90.000 EUR sponsored by Eurecan, a Spanish community of entrepreneurs.

The TOP 25 were selected from among 102 pre-selected high potential European companies evaluated by a panel of European and Global VCs and investors at Venture Forum events held across Europe during the course of 2009. HammerKit was chosen among the top 10 Nordic growth companies at the Nordic Venture Forum in Copenhagen on October 19th. The selected companies scored high in the following criteria: the entrepreneur, business potential, team experience, product/technology merit, competitive position, investment or partnering interest and growth.
