HammerKit Rewarded As The Best e-Business & Commerce Solution At The World Summit Award (WSA) Finland Competition
HammerKit was rewarded as the winner of the e-Business & Commerce category in WSA Finland
competition organised alongside with the annual MindTrek conference. The winners of each
category have the opportunity to represent Finland in the 2011 global World Summit Awards.
Tampere Finland, 8th October, 2010 - HammerKit, the developer of a cloud based web design
toolkit and publishing platfrom won the e-Business & Commerce category in the national WSA
competition. The competition, that is organised every other year, is part of the United Nations
information society strategy.
“We really value this acknowledgement, because we want to support the development of the
information society. HammerKit aims at making web service creation faster and cheaper than
before. We want quality online services to be available to as many organisations, communities and
individuals as possible.” says Mark Sorsa-Leslie, CEO of HammerKit.
WSA Finland rewarded one candidate in each of the eight competition categories. The winners are
the Finnish candidates for next yearʼs global World Summit Awards. Finns have done well in the
previous competitions: Habbo Hotel of Sulake was awarded in 2003 and Wreck a Movie of Energia
Productions in 2009.
