Online based web design toolkit provider HammerKit is nominated as Best Business or Enterprise Startup in The Europas, the TechCrunch Europe Awards 2010 for European tech companies.

Finland, 22nd October 2010, HammerKit, the developer of a cloud based web design toolkit and publishing platform, is nominated as Best Business or Enterprise Startup in The Europas, a competition by TechCrunch acknowledging some of the best European tech companies.

“It’s very exciting to be selected among some of the most potential new tech companies in Europe and we are proud to be representing the vibrant Finnish startup scene in such a prominent competition. There are so many amazing companies selected, it is just an honour to be amongst them”, says Mark Sorsa-Leslie CEO of HammerKit.

The nomination follows hot on the heels of HammerKit also being nominated by the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) in the for the Best Web Application category.

The nominated companies are shortlisted from Crunchbase, TechCrunch’s database of startups. The entrants will be first voted on by the general public, and these results will then influence a subsequent voting round from The Europas Advisory Board of experts, chaired by TechCrunch Europe. The award ceremony for the Europas will be held on 19th November in London. BIMA will annouce their winners at a Gala Awards event in London on the 25th November.
