There are two ways of doing this:
1) You can upload images (and any other files) in the File Manager by clicking 'add file' button on upper left corner. Select an image file from your computer and save it in your target folder.
2) You can also upload an image directly in the Component Editor, in the settings box that appears when you drop an image element onto the canvas. Click select and in 'choose file' window click the add file button.
