The site info view contains the basic information of the site

Site URL

The site URL is the web address of the site. You cannot change the web-address yourself. However it is possible to link any URL to your site using the web server management software.

Linking a domain to the site

  • Ask your service provider or the administrator of the web server about domain registration and domain linking.

Browser title

The browser title is visible in the top title panel of the browser window. You can also se individual browser titles to each page in the content editor.[link]

Editing the browser title

  • Write the default browser title for the site in the Browser title text field.
  • Click the save button once to save the changes

Meta keywords

Meta keywords are used by the search engines (Google, Yahoo etc.) for site searches.

Defining meta keywords

  • Write the comma separated keywords that you want your site to be found with in the Meta keywords text area.
    Example: sports, skiing, winter, snow
  • Click the save button once to save the changes.

Meta description

Meta description is a short description of the site. The search engines use this information to show the description of the site in the search results. Write the description of the site that you want to be visible in the search result in the text area.

Defining meta description
  • Write the description text describing your your site in the Meta description text area.
  • Click the save button once to save the changes.

Favourite icon

The Favourite icon is visible in the URL-field of the browser�s navigation toolbar.

Adding the favourite icon

  • Click the browse� button to open the file chooser for selecting or uploading the image file for the favourite icon. (See using the file chooser
  • Click the save button once to save the changes.
