Hammerkit has just been shortlisted for Plugg’s Start-ups Rally. The winner of Plugg Start-Up of the Year Award 2009 will be announced at the conference on March 12 in Brussels, where we will be presenting our pitch to the renowned industry professionals and the Plugg audience.
Hammerkit was chosen as one of the finalists from 126 entries from the most promising European web and mobile start-ups. Plugg’s Start-Ups Rally is a competition to showcase young technology ventures with most potential for success. It is a great launch platform for us and other emerging European web and mobile start-ups looking for early-stage funding and trade press, tech blogger and early-adopter attention. Last year’s winner was Viewdle, a facial-recognition powered digital media platform for indexing, searching and monetising video assets.
What is Plugg? Plugg is the brainchild of Robin Wauters, internet entrepreneur, social media consultant, writer and all-round web enthusiast. He’s joined by Veronique Pochet from VNU to organise a one-day conference to promote the entrepreneurship and innovation in Europe as well as to raise global awareness for the most promising European web and mobile 2.0 start-ups.
If you want to come along and see how our presentation goes, the early bird fee is valid until Saturday 28th Feb! You can find more info about Plugg, the other finalists and how to register from http://plugg.eu/
