Nordic Venture Forum 09 Top 50
Hammerkit has been selected among the Nordic Venture Forum top 50 most promising Nordic companies. This means that Hammerkit will have a chance to present themselves before an audience of Nordic and international venture capital, corporate investors and strategic partners. Selection criteria measures the companies’ business potential, product/technology merit, competitive position, team experience, project profile quality as well as investment or partnering interest. Hammerkit scored as above average on most criteria.
The Nordic Venture Forum, taking place on October 19th in Copenhagen, will be showcasing high potential life science, ICT and clean technology companies. The OECD regards the Nordic region as the most entrepreneurial within Europe. Nordic Venture Forum was created to connect the highest potential companies with prospective investors.
Furthermore, the top 10 presenters of this event will participate in the European Venture Summit and the Eurecan European Venture Contest to compete with other European top ventures for a hefty sum of € 90.000. Nordic potential was awarded last year as the top two of the European Venture Contest 2008 were Danish InMold Biosystems and Norwegian RPR Technologies.
Presenting at the Nordic Venture Forum has been able to attract new investments for over 60% of the previous participating companies. The event is thus regarded as an important forum for fostering start-ups and high-tech, high-growth entrepreneurship as well as promoting the Nordic region as innovative, attractive and rewarding countries to do business or invest in.
