Pixalache in Helsinki

Last week I attended the Pixalache Festival of Eletronic Arts & Subcultures and here is the list of the things that most impressed me:

ROBOTS AT KERAVA MUSEUM

"Invalid Robot Factory" - an art project that shows some robots walking with the help of a vehicle made for disabled people.

The exhibition "How to build a Dishwasher" showed the interaction between 2 robots: a robot making art for another robot.

KIASMA TALKS

Golan Levin talked about his interactive artworks. And here are some of the projects that he showed:

If you are more curious about it you can check his talk in TED:

TOOLS

Fritzing - an open-source tool that allows users to document and prototype their Arduino.

Dfacer.net plugin for firefox that allows you to paint on web pages.

THE PARTY

In front of the Kiasma Museum "Self-Sustainable Party Container" - an interactive installation build with sound and light where the energy was provided by spectators on gym bikes.
