Our core service is the HammerKit Component Factory, a full platform-as-a-service offering that provides everything needed to devise, design, produce and deliver web presence and business applications without specialist programming knowledge. It is a fully managed and secure instance of HammerKit provided to production partners and businesses that would like to utilise HammerKit to build their web applications. It includes a full version of the latest version of HammerKit along with all of the bundled components supplied by the HammerKit team.

The service is provided on a free basis for the duration of the assembly, testing and staging of resultant applications, with payment being triggered by the application going into production. The trigger fee is calculated based on the complexity of the application (components, pages, facilities, database complexity, infrastructure requirements) and can be paid as a lump sum or as a quarterly subscription fee. In both of these scenarios, the customers benefits from secure hosting, maintenance and updates to the components and HammerKit environment.

During 2009 HammerKit will launch a Component Marketplace that will provide production partners with the ability to sell components that they have produced to other production partners. This service will generate revenue for HammerKit via commissions on the distribution of components through the marketplace.
